Terms of Service
These terms apply to anyone who uses Meridian. If a company has signed a separate agreement with us, that agreement governs where it differs from these terms.
1. The service
Meridian is software for customer success teams. We provide it to companies ("customers"), who invite their people ("users"). Each customer has its own instance.
2. Accounts
Users sign in with the account their company gives them and keep their credentials private. Customers are responsible for who they invite and what role each person has.
3. Customer data
Data a customer brings into Meridian, and the records Meridian makes from it, belong to the customer. We use it only to provide the service to that customer, as described in the Privacy Policy. When a customer stops using Meridian, its instance and database are deleted.
4. Connected services
Connecting Google, Slack, a CRM or a call recorder is optional and done by the customer or its users, under those services' own terms. Users can disconnect their own Google account at any time from their Profile.
5. AI features
Meridian uses an AI provider the customer chooses, with the customer's own key, to read conversations and write drafts, summaries and answers. AI output can be wrong. Users should review what Meridian writes before relying on it or sending it; Meridian sends email on its own only where the customer has turned that on, and holds each such email so it can be stopped.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Meridian to break the law, to send spam or deceptive messages, to access data you are not entitled to, or to interfere with the service or other customers.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Meridian available and to improve it, and may change features over time. We will give customers reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what the service does.
8. Ending use
A customer can stop using Meridian at any time. We may suspend access that breaks these terms, after notice where we reasonably can.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Except as stated in a signed agreement, Meridian is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amounts the customer paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, United States.
